Temple Body

the metaphysical begins just outside of the skin.
— David Delt

The development of the body results in the growth of the brain as a filter for consciousness. Being a super predator requires a large capacity for apprehending knowledge and wisdom, thus the importance of rationality for homo sapiens. Our categorical name exemplifies the ontological nature of apprehending wisdom thus distinguishing philosophizing from the mere categories of mundane activities, and illuminating it as an essential mode of operation and being for the species.

When we consider how the physical body is affected by externalities — such as environmental and energetic stimuli — we discover, for example, that the hormones of humans have a lot to reveal to us. Transformation within societies are often the result of shifting hormonal assemblages (or constellations) within any given group of humans.

Many of these hormonal assemblages serve as contrarian forces that go against the profanum vulgus and any given societies’ status quo. The Davidian is by definition a noble individual who is not only differentiated in mind, but in body also. Spurred on by a noble will, The Davidian is a propagator of proper diversity and acts as a balancing force within any given society. Nevertheless, such an individual could never maintain a centrist disposition, for their very existence is always on the fringe of society. Balance is always achieved through the war of polarizing forces. To observe and understand what affects and influences the individual within a crowd, is to take a step closer in understanding the psychology of the mob.

So where does The Davidian reside in a society preoccupied with material objects? Just as the imagination guides one through unknown territories, there is a higher consciousness that exposes one to all that lies beyond what is not known. Just because something is unknown doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There is an error in believing that the unknown is only apprehended by mankind's reaching forth. Contrastingly, the unknown often makes itself known by reaching out to mankind, for the unknown is contained within universal consciousness — for consciousness can be seen as all that precedes the material world. This reaching out to mankind is evidence of the species being a clearing, an availability, and/or a fascia binding spirit and material together. Even the design of our species displays this truth — the organism is at least spirit, soul, and body. The Davidian is often a sojourner between waking life and sleep, exploring all that lies betwixt earth and heaven.

The Davidian is always the doer of what is hard — allowing for the destruction of belief by the truth is always uncomfortable. As super predators, The Davidian not only embraces the destruction of erroneous beliefs by truth, but actively seeks to destroy rigid belief systems that seek to distract the species from its proper mode of being. This destruction is not malicious in intent, for the telos of such destruction is creation — the creation of new beliefs and value systems conducive to the artistic and poietic mode of being fitting of a noble individual. We start by contending with the cognitive dissonance within our hypocritical societies that proccupies itself with the material world while neglecting the material and physical human body through which all investigations are conducted. To neglect the body is to neglect the very essence of human creativity, for there is no creativity on earth without a body. Only the living can create values.

Being is no object, thus man is no-thing. Man is unable to examine Being as an object from the outside, thus the need to investigate Being as a being, in all of its modalities. To seek wisdom is to discover mankind. To think of what lies beyond the flesh is the defining activity of living an optimal life — for the metaphysical begins just outside of the skin. It is within the cathedral of the body that the intersections between biology and society can be explored. Do we choose to venture into the territory of mystery as heroes, or do we choose to make ourselves unavailable by abandoning fidelity, hope, and love in an effort to turn away from the mystery of ontology?

Only the living can create values.
